Emma trained with Peters & Peters, qualifying into the civil and commercial litigation team in 2010. Since then, she has worked on some of the most high-profile civil litigation matters in the firm, including a dispute over the sale of Formula One, allegations of share manipulation made against the CEO of one of Nigerias biggest banks and claims against pharmaceutical companies involved in anti-competitive behaviour. Emmas practice combines civil and competition litigation experience in multi-jurisdictional disputes. As a result, she is well versed in applying for and defending worldwide freezing injunctions, founding and challenging jurisdiction and managing large-scale disclosure exercises.
