Esther is a partner and solicitor advocate in the Commercial and Private Client Litigation Team specialising in agricultural and property litigation as well as contentious Wills, trusts and probate and commercial disputes. She heads up a team of 15 lawyers who are based in the Taunton and Bristol offices.

Esther trained and qualified at Linklaters before moving to Burges Salmon in Bristol. She joined Clarke Willmott in 2013.

Esther’s practice is extensive and includes advising landed estates, farming business and private clients on a wide range of contentious agricultural property and commercial matters. She also has considerable experience in contentious Wills, trusts and probate matters.

Andrew served at sea with the Royal Navy and also had a stint with the Hong Kong Squadron. He left the Royal Navy in 1990 and joined HFW in 1994. Johnny is a commercial litigation managing associate who advises on disputes across a number of sectors, with particular expertise in aviation litigation and regulation.

He has advised airlines and operators, banks and financial institutions on contentious matters arising in the aviation sector, including in respect of the financing and leasing of aircraft, repossessions and redeliveries. Johnny has in-depth experience working on disputes concerning the return conditions of engines and works frequently with powerplant engineers, MROs, and engine experts. In addition, he has experience in advising airlines on regulatory developments at an international, EU and domestic level, including in relation to airport slots, passenger rights and state aid.

Johnny also advises and represents banks, corporates and high net worth individuals in relation to a range of matters involving arbitration and litigation.

Johnny is a fluent Cantonese speaker, and comprehends Mandarin, and written Chinese.

Jenny Kennedy is a Partner on Anthony Gold’s Injury and Medical Claims team.

A complex brain, spinal and amputation expert, Jenny is well known for representing foreign national clients injured in the UK as well as British nationals injured abroad. She settled the first reported case involving indexation of periodical payments to a foreign jurisdiction and secured a verdict of unlawful killing before a UK Coroner for the family of a mother killed whilst on holiday In South America.

Described as "one of the most respected PI claimant lawyers in the country" her expertise includes dealing with all the associated elements of catastrophic injury litigation and managing the needs of clients with issues associated with significant head injury. Jenny is recognised as a Star Individual in the Chambers Directory and a Hall of Fame Lawyer in The Legal 500.

Jenny has a medical background, having qualified as a psychiatric nurse, and her clinical negligence expertise includes a wide range of claims of complexities with a special interest in psychiatric and orthopaedic injury cases.
