Practice Areas
Richard is a Partner in the Human Resources Practice Group and has extensive experience in pensions law.
Richard advises employers and trustees on a full range of pensions-related legal issues. He has acted for a wide variety of clients, and has considerable experience, having worked in pensions law since 1995.
Richard has advised on the pensions aspects of many corporate sales and acquisitions (a number of which involved obtaining Pensions Regulator clearance).
He also has first-hand knowledge of the issues that pension trustees face, having previously co-founded and managed a successful independent trustee company.
Richard's recent work has included advising employers on issues relating to section 75 debts, scheme mergers, winding-ups and amendments to defined benefit schemes.
Richard is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
