Director in the firm’s Projects team. Laura has extensive experience advising public and private sector clients on the public procurement aspects of high value, innovative and complex projects in the UK and internationally. Laura’s experience includes drafting, negotiating and evaluating tender and contract documentation, structuring and managing procurement processes and advising clients engaged in all forms of dispute resolution.

Regularly advises central Government departments (including MoD, FCO and Defra) on major projects such as Defra’s c.?200m contract for the urgent supply of food boxes to extremely vulnerable people during the Covid-19 pandemic and the MoD’s ?2.9billion competition for new facilities management contracts. Also advises local authorities on innovative projects such as Bristol City Council’s ‘City Leap’ initiative, aimed at delivering c. ?1billion of energy infrastructure. Laura has advised on some of the most high profile bid challenges of recent years, and also regularly advises private sector organisations on procurement processes and bid strategies.
