Career

Tony was only the fifth Scottish civil Solicitor advocate to be awarded the rank and dignity of Senior Counsel. He is the only KC in Scotland to be accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as an expert in both Professional Negligence Law and Construction Law. In July 2022 Tony was called as a Barrister (Middle Temple) with rights of audience in England & Wales.

Tony frequently represents clients in property, professional negligence, construction, corporate and contact disputes. His breadth and depth of practice and expertise is difficult to rival. Tony is Fiscal to the Society of Writers to Her Majesty's Signet and sits on a Committee of the Civil Justice Council.
