Stephen Abram is a senior associate in the firm's Litigation Department in Belfast and he specialises in Competition & Regulatory law. Stephen has a wide range of experience in advising regulated companies and regulatory authorities on the application of legislation relevant to the sectors in which they operate. Before joining the firm, he was a legal adviser at the Utility Regulator and previously trained and practiced with firms in London.

Stephen's primary areas of practice are competition, procurement, judicial review, regulatory, merger control and State aid law. Whilst Stephen has developed extensive experience in advising clients in the utility sector, he also advises clients involved with software development, the production of medical products and those acting within the financial sector.
