Simon joined Birketts in 2004. He is an Employed Barrister in our Property Litigation Team.
Simon graduated from the University of East Anglia with first class honours. He was called to the Bar in October 1990 and practised from chambers in London for a number of years, appearing as an advocate in most courts including the Court of Appeal. After leaving the Bar, Simon spent over seven years with a large international law firm in its property litigation team where he dealt with a number of high profile cases. He has substantial experience in advising on property disputes and in particular on all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant, real property and residential landlord and tenant. He frequently acts for local authorities, landlords and tenants of retail and commercial premises, occupiers and investors.
Simon also has extensive experience advising in connection with surplus property portfolios and is the sole property litigation advisor to the marking leading provider.
