Penny is an environmental lawyer well known for her expertise in “natural environment” law. She advises housing and other developers, mineral operators, water companies, energy sector companies, environmental consultancies and public sector organisations on a wide range of issues relating to the natural environment, such as protected species / sites, water regulation, environmental permitting and environmental impact assessment. Her expertise covers regulatory compliance advice, planning advice, environmental permit / licences, appeals, criminal defence and challenges of public body decisions. She also advises on other areas of environmental law such as contaminated land and waste issues.
