Rupert Croft is founder and managing director of specialist litigation and dispute resolution practice, Croft Solicitors. He is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on general commercial cases, civil fraud, financial services, anti-trust and property disputes.

Rupert has represented clients in all levels of the courts, including the Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice. He represented clients in the ECJ establishing the right to recover damages in the EU for infringement of competition law.

More recently, he successfully represented British expats in the Supreme Court to ensure that the procedure for the UK’s withdrawal from the EU was triggered lawfully under Article 50. He also successfully represented the first claimant in the Supreme Court in the enforcement of a substantial arbitration award against the state of Romania (Micula v Romania).

In 2023, he acted for the successful defendants in a High Court fraud claim brought by the sovereign wealth fund of Libya.
