Rukhsana is a solicitor with Education Lawyers, a dedicated Education Law department at Langley Wellington LLP Solicitors. She specialises in Special Educational Needs law and appeals to the SEND Tribunal. Rukhsana advises and represents parents, carers and young people (YP), across England and Wales, seeking to obtain an EHC Needs assessment or challenge a local authority decision in respect of children and YP's special educational, health and care needs and provision and securing educational placements through the SEND Tribunal. Rukhsana has a high and consistent success rate of achieving positive outcomes for her clients.

Rukhsana enjoys giving talks and presenting workshops and webinars, free of charge to parents, to raise their awareness and knowledge of Special Educational Needs law, in association with parent groups, charities and schools across England and Wales. She strongly believes in empowering parents and carers with knowledge of their rights so they can challenge their Local Authority and obtain the support, provision and the school there child is entitled to with real positive results

Rukhsana also advises on school admission appeals, exclusion appeals and disability discrimination in school.

Rukhsana speaks Urdu and Punjabi and is happy to advise clients who speak these languages.
