Robin is a partner in Reed Smith’s Labor & Employment Group and acts for a diverse range of clients, particularly in the financial sector. He acts for investment and High Street banks, investment managers, professional partnerships, trading houses and insurance companies.

Robin has significant experience in managing large projects, often of an international nature and encompassing complex legal issues and highly sensitive/important business considerations.

Robin advises on all manner of employment issues, including the handling of disciplinary and grievance procedures, fraud by employees, resolving workplace conflicts, effecting changes in terms and conditions, bonus disputes and handling allegations of whistle-blowing and discrimination. He also advises regularly on team moves, boardroom disputes and on employment law issues in a regulatory context.

Robin has particular experience in employment litigation, representing clients in complex and high value matters before the Employment Tribunal and the High Court. He has successfully defended high profile discrimination and whistle-blowing claims and acted for employers in enforcing their rights in relation to confidential information, the enforcement of restrictive covenants and ‘garden leave’.

Robin was previously the European vice chair for Reed Smith's Litigation Department and the co-global practice group leader for the firm’s Labor and Employment Group.
