Philip has over 25 years’ experience as a partner in Reed Smith’s Global Corporate Group and is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading mid-market M&A lawyers.

Philip advises public listed and private companies, private equity clients, state-owned entities and owner/managers of businesses on a broad range of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, private equity, joint ventures, fund raising, corporate and securities law issues and large commercial contracts. He has significant experience of advising on complex cross-border M&A transactions and his practice spans a number of different industry sectors, namely business services, entertainment and media, insurance, manufacturing, natural resources, private equity and technology and data.

He has also served as a member of Reed Smith’s global Executive Committee.
