Matt is Global Head of Funds & Asset Management.

He has extensive experience advising asset managers on the establishment of all types of public and private funds, including real estate, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, fund of funds, exchange traded and regulated funds, joint ventures, funds of one, structured products utilising funds as well as the national and international regulatory environments for asset managers and their products.

He also advises on carried interest plans, co-investment arrangements, the sale and purchase of secondary fund interests as well as institutional investors on making investments into funds and other arrangements. He also advises both managers and investors with on-going regulatory matters relating to their fund portfolios. Matt also has experience advising on fund financing, asset management M&A and litigious asset management matters. Matt is ranked as a leading lawyer in the latest edition of Chambers & Partners.
