Aviation liability including hull claims, major accidents, cargo, personal injury, insurance coverage and general aviation principally within Europe and the Middle East.

In the Who's Who Legal - Transport 2022 analysis of the aviation market, Maria was identified as coming "highly recommended for her top-notch practice and extensive experience of aviation insurance and cargo catastrophe claims." She is a former member of the Legal Studies Group of the International Union of Aviation Insurers and Lloyds reforms Committee.
