Joanne specialises in advising education clients and has acted on well over 100 academy conversions for state funded schools. In addition she has recently acted for a number of further education colleges for both acquisitions and disposals. Her recent work has included multi-million pound cross-border transactions including advising on overage and planning aspects.

Joanne has also developed a particular interest in charities and ecclesiastical property law issues for The Church of England. She acts for a number of Church Schools and for numerous Dioceses. She is also a member of the Ecclesiastical Law Society.

In the private sector Joanne has previous in house experience for working for clients such as Somerfield and she currently helps a broad range of clients with standard landlord and tenant issues.
