Fozia qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and specialises in asbestos related disease claims for Claimants in the UK and abroad.

Fozia trained and qualified as a solicitor at the Halifax office of the niche industrial disease firm, John Pickering and Partners LLP before becoming a Partner 2010.

Fozia was Practice Group Leader for Slater and Gordon Lawyers in their asbestos disease team in Halifax and later in Manchester between 2013 and 2016.

Fozia is a Fellow of APIL and an APIL accredited occupational and asbestos specialist.

Fozia is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi which has enabled her to act for South Asian clients who emigrated to the UK in the 1960s and 1970s to work in the asbestos manufacturing industries.

Fozia has devoted her entire legal career to seeking justice for asbestos disease victims.

She has significant experience of acting for clients exposed in an occupational, environment and familial setting. She routinely acts in complex exposure, high value cases often recovering hospice care costs and damages for disabled spouses.
