Emma leads our highly regarded Manchester based logistics practice, which is recognised for its commerciality and cost effective solutions.

This is the largest logistics team outside of London and the engine room of Clyde & Co’s top rated logistics practice, which is repeatedly selected to the panels of many major logistics insurers.

Emma has practised law in the transportation sector since 2004, focussing on shipping, logistics and marine insurance. Her expertise expands right across the field from transportation to warehousing, ports & terminals, customs & excise and negotiating contracts to market.

Emma acts in a wide range of logistics matters, handling litigation before the English courts and arbitration tribunals, as well as co-ordinating litigation in most international jurisdictions. Emma has experience in over 20 jurisdictions, such as throughout Europe, the US, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, India, China, Russia and Australia.

Emma also advises on the drafting of logistics contracts in a non-contentious capacity.

She is a knowledgeable and driven individual, who achieves excellent results for her clients. She is also known for her “personable approach and providing clear, incisive advice honed to the needs of her clients”.
