Vanessa has specialised in clinical negligence litigation for over 20 years and leads the clinical negligence team in Clyde & Co's Manchester office. Her caseload primarily consists of high value brain injuries in new-borns and adults, claims involving serious spinal injuries and cases involving the delayed diagnosis of cancer. In the last 12 months, she has resolved numerous high value claims by way of periodical payment orders, with one claim for in excess of ?38 million having been settled at a significant discount.
