shalina.crossley@lewissilkin.comPractice Areas
Shalina advises on many areas of employment and partnership law. She has a particular focus in dealing with high level disputes in the employment tribunal, high court and through arbitration often, in the professional services sector and involving issues of discrimination.
Employment: Whilst Shalina's practice covers many aspects of employment and partnership law, she specialises in advising on senior terminations, complex discrimination and equal opportunities issues and high court employment issues such as restrictive covenants.
Many of her clients are in the professional services and creative sectors. A significant proportion of her work is advising law firms on their own internal HR issues and representing them in employment tribunal and arbitration proceedings.
As part of Shalina's work with professional services firms she advises on partnership law issues. These include issues relating to retirement, expulsion, discrimination and partnership/employment status.
Much of Shalina's work is for professional services firms and in particular, she acts for a number of law firms both in relation to their internal employment, partnership and LLP issues. Shalina set up the Up and Coming Legal HR Network, which facilitates networking opportunities for HR professionals.
