Richard advises UK-based and multi-national companies on all aspects of labour and employment law, with a particular focus on employment issues arising on corporate mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing transactions.

He advises on international employment law, regularly co-ordinating large cross-border employment projects.

He works across a wide range of sectors, including in the technology, advertising, manufacturing, aviation and retail & hospitality sectors.

Recent work includes:

• advising on all employment aspects connected to the purchase of a property advisory business and the associated transfer of senior executives and other staff

• co-ordinating advice for a multi-national manufacturing organisation on a cross-border restructuring exercise involving redundancies in numerous countries across EMEA
