Practice Areas

I am a clinical negligence solicitor who works within a dedicated team of lawyers obtaining compensation for individuals who have suffered negligent treatment in a clinical setting. I have experience in a range of clinical negligence claims most notably claims involving psychiatric harm, negligent or unnecessary surgery, fatal claims (including representation at Inquests) and delay in diagnosis or treatment of various conditions.

Memorable moments of my career so far:

- Involvement in a high value case which led to a landmark ruling on consent in the Court of Appeal

- Achieving a Band 1 ranking in Chambers & Partners 2023 as part of the Clinical Negligence team in Derby

- Named as an "Associate to Watch" in Chambers & Partners 2022 and 2023

Despite the difficult circumstances in which I am often instructed, I believe that my professional yet empathetic and friendly nature allows me to build a good rapport and working relationship with my clients. It is extremely rewarding to obtain compensation for deserving individuals in order to assist them with moving forward with their lives.
