Marianna is a children solicitor specialising in all areas of international children and domestic private children law.

Marianna has developed a particular speciality in international parental child abduction and she has represented many clients in matters involving abductions to Hague and non-Hague countries. She represents and advises clients in making such applications and in defending them. Marianna is experienced in using the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court and especially in Wardship cases where the court’s hands might be tied in making other appropriate orders concerning children. Marianna’s cases are regularly in the High Court and she has been involved in a number of cases in the Court of Appeal.

She represents parties within a wide range of highly acrimonious disputes including complex parental alienation cases, and regularly makes and responds to applications for Child Arrangement Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, and Specific Issue Orders.

Marianna has much experience representing parents either applying to relocate their children to another part of the country or who want to relocate abroad.

Marianna also advises on general jurisdictional disputes affecting children, surrogacy and inter-country adoption issues, as well as registering and enforcing orders.
