Lara White is a communications, media and technology lawyer based in London. Her practice focuses on data privacy and she has extensive experience of advising on large-scale IT and business process outsourcing arrangements.

She advises clients across all our industry sectors, but has a particular focus on financial services, insurance and technology and innovation.

Lara assists clients with a full range of privacy issues, including: large scale GDPR compliance programmes; general compliance advice; cross-border privacy solutions; data subject rights; and data security incidents.

Lara also has broad knowledge of the data protection and e-privacy issues arising in the AdTech, FinTech and InsurTech sectors, including programmatic advertising and blockchain technology. Recent examples of her data protection work range from advising a global insurance and reinsurance business on its group-wide GDPR compliance, to advising a media-rich publisher on the privacy implications of its entry into a joint venture in the online advertising space.
