Career

Jonathan has over 15 years' experience as a pension lawyer and he advises both employers and trustees in relation to pensions. He advises trustees on the full range of issues from queries relating to individual members to complex investment structures. His advice to companies includes global M&A deals, pension plan mergers, and group restructurings. He has particular interest in the tax rules relating to pension schemes, and has written several articles on the topic.

Recent work has included implementing GMP conversion for two pension schemes and advising DC trustees on transfers to master trusts.
