David is a partner in Reed Smith’s Labor & Employment Group. He advises on complex employment issues, corporate transactions, and litigation. He is recognised for his extensive experience on matters relating to the UK Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) and is an experienced litigator of bonus and TUPE disputes in the High Court and Employment Tribunal. He has extensive experience of both domestic and cross-border employee investigations. He is at the forefront of high-value corporate transactions across multiple sectors, with a focus on technology, media, real estate and transportation. He regularly advises financial services firms on the regulatory aspects of pay and reward, Financial Conduct Authority compliance and executive exits.

David is an experienced employment law trainer and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
