Avril is a consultant in the banking, restructuring and insolvency team. She has over 25 years experience of acting on behalf of Ulster Bank Group, AIB Group (Uk) Plc, Santander (UK) plc, Bank of Ireland (UK) Plc , Danske Bank and other lenders in perfecting security. She acts for lenders in relation to real estate finance, acquisitions and mergers, and business finance, on both a bilateral and syndicated basis. As regards her insolvency practice, she acts on behalf of Ulster Bank Group, AIB Group (Uk) plc and Bank of Ireland in enforcing security by way of appointment of administrators, administrative receivers and fixed charge receivers. She acts on behalf of insolvency practitioners and local agents in administrations, administrative receiverships and fixed charge receiverships in asset disposals including, residential property portfolios, commercial properties and large scale residential development sites. She tutors in Company law at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies
