Career

Amanda is an associate in the firm’s Shipping and Yacht Finance Group specialising in transactional work including ship building contracts, ship finance, sale and purchase and corporate matters. She has acted for both lenders and owners in superyacht financings and has experience in sale and purchase of superyachts and related flag registration arrangements.

Amanda is a “go to” member of the Marine Assets and Projects team. Amanda is an excellent technical solicitor and clients commend her ability to pick-up matters quickly and to identify commercial and legal issues and provide a practical solution. Amanda is well-respected and liked by colleagues and clients alike. Amanda acts for a wide range of clients including international corporations, financial institutions and ship owners in relation to commercial shipping matters and related energy projects, including long-term time charters, shipbuilding contracts, ship sale and purchase, vessel registrations and flagging. Amanda has a broad range of experience with ship finance matters (including sale and leaseback) as well, including in the newbuild cruise sector.

Amanda joined the firm as trainee before qualifying into the Marine Assets and Projects team.
