Davids expertise spans both the private and public sector. In the private sector, David advises suppliers who provide all aspects of IT solutions to their customers, and steers purchasers through key IT infrastructure contracts. In the public sector, David has advised a number of public bodies in the end-to-end procurement of IT, as well as suppliers who are bidding to win public sector IT contracts. As a result, David is able to steer his clients through various public sector procurement issues.
His practice spans clients in the retail, healthcare and financial sectors where he has built a reputation as a tough negotiator, being able to handle complex projects in which he not only provides legal advice, but also project manages his client throughout the process to ensure that the right focus is given to the right issues at the right time.
Throughout his career, David has worked on a number of the UKs most high-profile technology projects directly advising government, non-governmental bodies, banks, building societies and one of the worlds largest suppliers of healthcare informatics software on matters ranging from transport, policing and financial services to shared services, telecommunications and healthcare.
As well as large-scale projects, David also acts for clients on a full range of commercial and technology matters which include agreements to support software development, IT support services, disaster recovery services, computer games publishing and television production.
