Career

Claire is a dual-qualified Legal Director who practices in Scotland, England and Wales. She specialises in regulatory and disciplinary matters. She is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in the Regulation of Professional Conduct Law.

Claire is recognised as an "Associate to Watch" by Chambers and Partners in Professional Discipline. She is also a rising star in The Legal 500 for medical negligence defender.

Claire acts extensively for healthcare professionals, particularly doctors and dentists, before their regulators including the General Medical Council and the General Dental Council. She appears on behalf of practitioners at all stages of fitness to practise proceedings, local disciplinary proceedings and fatal accident inquiries. Claire also represents teachers before the General Teaching Council for Scotland assisting them at all stages of their fitness to teach proceedings.
