Richard is Joint Managing Partner of Lewis Silkin and is head of the firm’s 150 plus strong employment and immigration practice.

He mainly acts for companies and LLPs advising on everything involving their workforce, including strategic advice on major projects, high value High Court and Employment Tribunal litigation, sensitive senior exits disciplinary issues incorporating regulatory issues. Richard also advises high net worth individuals and is an accredited mediator, regularly mediating workplace issues including dysfunctional working relationships.

Richard was named Lawyer of the Year at Legal Business Awards 2019 and was named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 for 2020. He supported The Old Vic in launching the Guardians Programme aimed at helping organisations to create a safe and secure working environment and continues to provide support to its members.
