Max advises trustees and employers on legal issues in relation to workplace pension schemes. His experience includes (among other things): scheme mergers (sectionalised and unsectionalised); drafting scheme documentation; acting for representative beneficiaries in rectification/construction claims; resolution of disputes with scheme members; trustee governance reviews; advising on section 75 debt and restructuring issues; buy-outs and buy-ins including review of benefit specifications and contractual terms; and advising employers on their obligations in relation to participation in the Local Government Pension Scheme and outsourcing agreements.
