Lucy is a senior associate advising on international arbitration, in particular cases relating to investment treaty arbitration and public international law. Lucy has been involved in cases in the mining, energy, construction and telecommunications sectors and has experience of acting on arbitration cases for both the claimant and the respondent under UNCITRAL and ICSID rules, particularly on disputes arising out of bilateral and multilateral investment treaties.
Lucys recent experience includes disputes over the transfer of licenses, the alleged nationalisation of strategic assets and the alleged state expropriation of mineral and petroleum assets.
Lucy was included in the Legal Business shortlist of next generation of arbitration talent in the UK and regularly contributes to articles for a wide variety of business and legal publications.
Lucy also spearheaded Reed Smiths Women in Arbitration podcast miniseries, a platform for womens voices in the international arbitration space.
