Lisa is a dedicated criminal solicitor, who has specialised in criminal defence work for fifteen years. She has a broad and busy practice, being well-versed in representing defendants charged with the most serious offences, including homicide offences, large-scale drug conspiracies and sexual offences, whether recent or historic.

One of Lisa’s particular specialities is representing young people charged with serious offences of violence, drug supply and sexual offences before the Crown Court. Given the nature of this work, she is very experienced in dealing with vulnerable defendants and frequently acts in cases involving intermediaries and expert witnesses.

Lisa is often instructed to represent children and young people at the police station stage and regularly provides pre-charge advice to avoid criminal charges being brought.

She also has an excellent record of defending victims of modern slavery who face criminal proceedings, being well-versed in the National Referral Mechanism and public interest considerations in this area.
