Laura is the Global Head of the Risk Advisory Services Group, which comprises the firm’s Contentious Construction, Intellectual Property, Litigation, Regulatory & Tax and Technology, Media & Telecoms practices. She is recognised as a leading lawyer in the field of health and safety. She has extensive experience of representing household names in times of crisis and regulatory investigations. Laura has conducted the advocacy in a number of prosecutions and fatal accident inquiries. She also carries out advisory work and has conducted training for a number of major plc boards on their Health and Safety responsibilities.

Laura is the Chair of the Health and Safety Lawyers’ Association in Scotland and she sits on the UK Committee. She gave evidence to the Scottish Affairs Select Committee at Westminster on Health and Safety Regulation and Enforcement to assist them in a review of that area. Laura works across all Sectors but she has widespread experience in Energy and Infrastructure matters. She is the relationship partner for one of the firm’s largest energy clients.
