Jonothan specialises in all areas of criminal defence including regulatory law, Victims Right to Review and driving offences. He has a particular specialism in the environment sector and waste management. His in-depth knowledge often sees him advise and attend any interviews under caution conducted by authorities such as the Police, Environment Agency, Environmental Health, HMRC, Department for Work and Pensions and other Government departments.

Jonothan has over 30 years' experience and has represented individuals and companies who were investigated by the authorities over a wide range of issues, including large fraud cases, environmental breaches, dangerous dogs cases and fatal road traffic matters. He has also taken two cases to the Supreme Court.
