Joanne has many years of deal experience advising on all aspects of corporate transactions (M&A and Private Equity), from initial planning to completion and beyond. Her work involves corporate transaction planning (structure and heads of terms), mergers and demergers, pre and post sale structuring (acquisitions, disposals, hive-ups), management buy-outs, private company sale and purchase, business and assets sale and purchase, private equity, seller and buyer due diligence. She has expertise in corporate group restructuring, joint ventures, share schemes/options, corporate governance issues and share buybacks/capital reductions.

Joanne routinely undertakes transactions in the corporate mid-market space, dealing with UK and cross border transactions. Her approach is to work collaboratively, to get the deal completed on time and on budget. She project manages the deals closely acting as lead corporate partner working closely with her team of project lawyers, taking a balanced pragmatic commercial view to drive the transaction forward.
