Appointed a partner in 2000, Jo heads the employment practice group at B P Collins LLP. She has a powerful reputation for her “impressive negotiation skills” and “phenomenal knowledge of employment law”.

Jo acts for both private and corporate clients. She has immense knowledge in all areas of employment law and enjoys a particular specialisms in senior executive and partner exits, tribunals, High Court litigation and partnership disputes.

She advises on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions and has established a reputation in the field of age discrimination, having acted for senior partner, Leslie Seldon, in the leading Supreme Court age discrimination case of Seldon v Clarkson Wright and Jakes. Ryta Kuzel in the whistleblowing case of Kuzel v Roche Products and His Highness Sheikh Khalid Al Qasimi in the whistleblowing case of Robinson v Al Qasimi.

Jo speaks on a variety of employment law issues on the radio, TV and in seminars. She is also frequently quoted in the legal press for her views on developments on employment law issues. She is a member of Employment Lawyers Association.
