Jill is a personal injury partner with a leading consumer law practice, specialising in product liability cases for individuals and groups. She has successfully concluded cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, bicycles, household products and appliances. She represents those affected by fires and explosions, including survivors of burns.
Jill acted as lead solicitor and settled a prominent prosthetic hip failure group action. She is interested in emerging areas of product-related / assisted medicine, including robotic surgery and artificial intelligence.
Jill currently represents football fans affected by the events surrounding the Champion's League final at the Stade de France.
Jill regularly represents families at inquests. Notable examples include the deaths of Santosh Benjamin following a fridge-freezer fire and Natasha Ednan-Laperouse after eating a Pret a Manger baguette. Jill went on to help the family achieve Natashas Law.
