Janet Cooper OBE has, for over 25 years, been one of the leading experts in employee share ownership and executive incentives.

She has been involved in founding and co-founding many of the industry groups to help share and celebrate best practice, including GEO and the Share Schemes Advanced Studies Group, Chair to ProShare and one of the longest serving members on the Share Plan Lawyers board.

Janet created the Linklaters global share plans team which she lead for 20 years and then co-founded law firm Tapestry which she transferred to an employee trust in 2020. Since then she gives her time in support of employee share ownership.

She is also on the Trustee Board of the RNLI where she was the first woman to chair the board in 200 years. Janet Chairs 4 remuneration committees and sits on a number of other boards.
